The voluntary program is available at Vancouver General, UBC, Mount St. Joseph, and St. Paul's hospitals for conditions such as sepsis, pneumonia, COPD, and dehydration. The internationally recognized model aims to increase patient comfort, privacy and independence, providing convenient, safe, and timely care within their own homes.
