Alberta's government invests $1.7bn in continuing care to relieve hospital bed pressure and reduce wait times by decreasing ALC patients.
Alberta's government is adding continuing-care spaces to help relieve hospital bed pressure and reduce emergency and surgery wait times. The government plans to invest $1.7 billion in continuing care, aiming to decrease the number of ALC patients waiting for transfer, alleviating hospital congestion.
