26 barges broke loose and floated uncontrolled down the Ohio River in Pittsburgh, causing damage to a marina and prompting bridge closures. The barges, carrying mainly dried cargo including coal, were accounted for with some resting against the Emsworth Lock and Dam on the Ohio River. No hazardous materials were on board the vessels, and no injuries were reported. Eleven of the barges were secured by a tugboat near Brunot Island.
