12 boaters were rescued from the Schuylkill River near Platt Bridge in Southwest Philadelphia after one of their boats began taking on water at 12:30 a.m. on Thursday. The incident occurred during a party on the river. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the water infiltration remains undisclosed. The police, Coast Guard, and Marine Units carried out the rescue mission, and the individuals were aged between their 20s and 30s.
