In Springburn Park, Glasgow, a dead cygnet was found, and three others are missing, suspected to have been killed by children throwing stones. In response, Glasgow City Council's countryside rangers relocated two adult swans and a surviving underweight cygnet to a safe location. The council condemned the cruelty and urged the public to report wildlife crimes to the police. The relocated birds will be monitored for their safety.
