Queensland Premier confirms Molly the magpie, famous for friendship with dogs, will be reunited with adoptive family after permit secured.
Queensland Premier Steven Miles has confirmed that Molly the magpie, which gained internet fame for its friendship with two dogs, will soon be reunited with its adoptive family. Molly had been surrendered by its Gold Coast family due to lack of a permit, but the Premier reassured the adoptive family that the bird was in good care. The Department of Environment has been working with the family to secure the right permit for them to bring Molly home.
