4-year-old Alaskan Malamute, Frosty, traveled 3,987 miles from Newcastle to her forever home in Western Australia after being found malnourished and suffering from infections. Frosty was cared for by Fletcher Vet and local council rangers before being relocated with assistance from Husky Rescue Western Australia. The City of Newcastle promotes responsible pet ownership and microchipping initiatives as part of its "Dogs in Open Spaces" plan.
