Nepal Army to clear 10 tonnes of garbage, dead bodies from Mt. Everest as part of Mountain Cleaning Campaign 2024. A 12-person team will collect garbage and 5 bodies from Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse mountains, supported by 18-member Sherpa team. Cleaning mission lasts for 50 days and aims to segregate waste as biodegradable and non-biodegradable.
