Nepal introduces new rule for Everest climbers, requiring them to carry their excrement down from the mountain to tackle pollution. Mount Everest has a growing waste problem due to the number of visitors and harsh conditions which interfere with the degradation process. Climbers hoping to scale the 8,849-meter (29,032-foot) peak will now need to add poop bags to their packing list.
