100 volunteers plan a cleanup on Snowdon due to increasing litter from visitors.

Snowdon's litter problem is worsening due to an increase in visitors, with the British Mountaineering Council stating that many items are accidentally discarded and blown out of reach. Trinity Gullies on Clogwyn Y Garnedd, just below the summit, are littered with colored clothes, plastics, and food wrappers. The BMC and other groups plan a cleanup operation on September 21, involving around 100 volunteers.
