Connecticut's nuclear waste issue could be solved by a Finnish solution. Finland is building the world's first repository, tunnelled into solid bedrock, to bury radioactive nuclear waste for up to 100,000 years. The Finnish Ambassador to the US, Mikko Hautala, visited Waterford, home to Millstone Nuclear Power Station, to discuss Finland's long political journey to overcome obstacles for similar projects.
