11-year-old Osoyoos boy, Kache Grist, was tragically killed by two large dogs during a family visit to Edmonton. His family is crowdfunding on GoFundMe to raise $40,000 for funeral costs and other expenses. Edmonton Police Service reported two previous calls to the home regarding dog attacks, but the dogs were seized only after the incident. School District 53 has provided support to Osoyoos Elementary School, where Kache attended, and the city of Edmonton is investigating the case.
