11-year-old Kache Grist was fatally attacked by two dogs owned by his father's roommate, Crystal Jean MacDonald, in Edmonton. MacDonald was charged with criminal negligence causing death. The dogs, Cane Corsos, had been involved in two previous attacks before Grist's death, leading to their euthanization. Animal control received numerous barking complaints about the dogs.
