NASA's DART spacecraft mission to deflect asteroid Dimorphos may have inadvertently sent 37 boulders towards Mars. The spacecraft successfully demonstrated the ability to change an asteroid's course but, in the process, ejected 1,000 tons of debris, including the boulders, at 13,000 mph. A new study suggests the boulders could create new craters up to 300 meters wide on Mars.
