1.2 million rapid cholera diagnostic tests to be deployed to 14 countries, starting with Malawi, in the largest-ever global rollout. The initiative aims to enhance outbreak detection and monitoring, improve vaccination campaign effectiveness, and guide future preventive efforts. Gavi, WHO, UNICEF, FIND, and other partners collaborate in the global cholera rapid diagnostic test procurement programme.
