South Africa's National Defense Force (SANDF) has dismissed a report by a US media outlet, Nationalsecuritynews.com, claiming that two of its soldiers deployed in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) surrendered to rebels. The SANDF stated that all its deployed members have been accounted for and described the report as "unfounded and baseless." The defense force vowed not to allow its good name to be tarnished.
