A woman in Sacramento, California, died in March after using a hemorrhoid ointment containing a "dangerous amount" of lead, which was purchased on Facebook and mailed from Vietnam. The ointment, named "Cao Boi Tri Cay Thau Dau," contained 4% lead and was found to be toxic by the California Department of Public Health. Anyone who purchased or used the ointment is advised to stop and consult a doctor for blood tests.
