The FDA has identified another cinnamon product, El Servidor, sold in the US, contaminated with lead. Distributed by an Elmhurst, New York company, the product has elevated lead levels of 20 parts per million, exceeding the UN's Food and Agriculture Organization's proposed international safety standard of 2.5 parts per million for bark spices like cinnamon.
