From homelessness to Final Four history, Fisk University's Jeremiah Armstead is set to be honored with the Perry Wallace Most Courageous Award. Armstead, who overcame hardships including moving around so much he couldn't play high school basketball until his senior year, is the first player from a historically Black college to receive the prestigious accolade from the Basketball Writers Association.
