7-foot-4 Purdue center Zach Edey has become the second two-time winner of the John R. Wooden Award for the nation's top men's college basketball player, following Ralph Sampson's wins in 1982 and 1983. Edey led Purdue to the national championship game and set school records for career points and rebounds. This marks the first time a player has won the Wooden Award unanimously in back-to-back years.
