37-year-old Charlotte man, William Mohr Eubank, has been charged with multiple counts of falsely impersonating federal officers between 2021 and 2024. He allegedly claimed to be a U.S. Department of Justice officer on April 14, 2021, to acquire a 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe with emergency lights and a siren. Eubank also falsely claimed to be the deputy director of the Community Emergency Response Team for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security on May 19, 2021, to obtain CMPD radio codes for his handheld radio and his "DHS-issued" truck.
