Pakistan's PM meets Chief Justice amid judicial interference allegations by IHC judges.
Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa amidst allegations from six Islamabad High Court (IHC) judges claiming interference from Pakistan's executive and spy agencies in judicial affairs. The IHC judges wrote to the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) requesting a judicial convention over the alleged interference. The meeting, also attended by Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar and Attorney General Mansoor Usman Awan, follows a full court session held by CJP Isa to address concerns raised in the letter.
