Pakistan's federal government challenges IHC's order on leaked audio recordings involving Imran Khan's spouse, disputing jurisdiction and ineffectiveness due to National Assembly dissolution.

Pakistan's federal government has challenged the Islamabad High Court's (IHC) order regarding leaked audio recordings involving Imran Khan's spouse, Bushra Bibi, and Najmul Saqib, the son of former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar. The IHC had instructed the Prime Minister's office to submit a report on the surveillance system's legal framework within six weeks. The federal government argues that the IHC overstepped its jurisdiction and that the impugned actions related to the matter have become ineffective due to the dissolution of the National Assembly.
