Pakistan's Ministry of Defence rejected allegations of military officers interfering in visits to PTI founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail, following a petition by Khan's counsel, Shoaib Shaheen. The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed the federal government to place the defence ministry's letter on record, adjourning the hearing pending the ministry's response. The petition requested the halt of alleged interference by military officers in granting permission for meetings with Khan at the jail.
