65-year-old former NSW MP Daryl Maguire faces trial for allegedly conspiring to commit visa fraud in 2013-2015.
Former NSW MP Daryl Maguire is set to face trial for allegedly conspiring to commit visa fraud between 2013 and 2015. Maguire, 65, was charged in 2022 with one count of conspiracy to commit an offence, allegedly involving false or misleading documents for non-citizens' visas. He resigned from the NSW parliament in 2018 following an anti-corruption inquiry. His trial arraignment is scheduled for April 26, with no indication that former premier Gladys Berejiklian, with whom Maguire had a secret romantic relationship, is involved in any alleged offences.
