Ellen Dahl, a Norwegian artist based in Australia, wins $30,000 National Photography Prize at Murray Art Museum Albury for her work, Four Days Before Winter. The series of four prints, part of her project Field Notes from the Edge, explores the collapsing terrains of the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard, the fastest warming place on earth. Dahl's work was chosen from 12 finalists, including Sammy Hawker, Nathan Beard, and Ali Tahayori.
