Scotland's Council tax freeze confirmed after Inverclyde and Argyll and Bute U-turns. Initially, Argyll and Bute approved a 10% increase, while Inverclyde would have seen an 8.2% rise in 2024-25. However, both local authorities have now confirmed they will recommend those decisions be overturned after positive discussions with the Scottish Government.
