2016: SP leader Azam Khan, 3 others sentenced for forced demolition in Rampur, India.

Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan has been sentenced to seven years in prison and a fine of Rs 8 lakh in a 2016 house demolition case in Rampur, India. Three others, including a former municipal president and a retired police circle officer, received five-year prison sentences and a fine of Rs 2.5 lakh each in the case. The court found the four accused guilty of forced demolition of a house in Dungarpur.
