Techie locked out of Google for uploading childhood bathing photos, gets notice from Gujarat HC.

The Gujarat High Court issued a notice to Google India Pvt. Limited after a man's email account was blocked for nearly a year due to uploading a nude childhood photo on Google Drive. Neel Shukla, a computer engineer, uploaded the photo showing him being bathed by his grandmother as a toddler, which resulted in Google blocking his account for violating its policy on contents related to "explicit child abuse." After the company failed to resolve the issue through its grievance redressal mechanism, Shukla moved to the High Court, stating that his business has been affected by the account block. The court of Justice Vaibhavi D Nanavati issued notices to Google, the Central and state governments, returnable on March 26.
