2 Black men tortured by 6 ex-Mississippi officers; officers plead guilty, face up to 30 years in prison.

2 Black men, Eddie Parker and Michael Jenkins, who were tortured by six former Mississippi law enforcement officers in January, are set to speak before their attackers' sentencing hearings. The officers pleaded guilty in August to a combined 13 felonies, including conspiracy against rights and deprivation of rights under color of law. The incident, which involved the officers entering the victims' home, handcuffing, kicking, waterboarding, and tasering them, and attempting to sexually assault them, is said to have been racially motivated. The federal prosecutors are seeking maximum sentences for the officers, who face up to 30 years in prison.
