Specialized nursing facility clinicians (SNFists) may improve end-of-life care for nursing home residents, according to a study by Weill Cornell Medicine researchers. The JAMA Network Open paper examined SNFists' impact on nursing home residents' last 90 days, showing they decreased stressful hospitalizations and improved quality of life. This is the first large-scale study of its kind.
