Researchers develop technology to create embryos with combined genetics of same-sex partners using skin cells and donated eggs.

Men in same-sex relationships may soon be able to have children genetically linked to both partners, researchers claim. A new technology uses skin cells to alter the genetics of a donated egg, which can then be fertilized by a sperm cell to create an embryo containing the combined genetics of the skin donor and sperm donor. This approach could help same-sex couples produce offspring and assist women who can't produce viable eggs due to age or medical reasons.
