Damaged statue of Azerbaijani poetess Khurshidbanu Natavan arrives in Paris for cultural center installation after 2015 Charter of Friendship signed.

The statue of Azerbaijani poetess Khurshidbanu Natavan, damaged with red paint on eyes, name, and broken nose and fingers, arrived in Paris from Evian. The statue is set to be installed at the Azerbaijani Embassy's Cultural Center. The statue was transferred from Evian to Paris after a Charter of Friendship and Cooperation was signed between Azerbaijan and France in 2015 to promote friendly relations and collaborate in culture, tourism, and economy.
