Medieval statue of the Virgin Mary returns to Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris after 2019 fire.

A medieval statue of the Virgin Mary and Child, known as "The Virgin of Paris," returned to Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris on November 15, five years after the 2019 fire. The statue, a symbol of hope and faith, was relocated after the fire and returned with a torchlit procession from Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois Church, followed by a blessing ceremony led by Archbishop Laurent Ulrich. The cathedral is set to reopen on December 8.
