Ryanair and Wizz Air reported rise in passengers in February.

Low-cost airlines Ryanair and Wizz Air both experienced significant increases in passenger numbers in February, with a 5% rise in Ryanair's passengers to 10.6 million and a 15.8% increase in Wizz Air's passengers to 4.4 million. Ryanair cancelled the lowest number of flights due to the Israel-Gaza conflict, cancelling 800 flights in February compared to 950 in January. Wizz Air's load factor was 90%, and the airline's CO2 emissions per passenger per kilometre increased by 5.1% to 51.4 grams, resulting in a total of 409,624 tonnes, an increase of 21.3% compared to the previous year. Despite the increase, Wizz Air continues to report the lowest CO2 emissions per passenger/km among competitor airlines.
