USAID and Breakthrough ACTION-Nigeria have trained Ogun journalists on Tuberculosis awareness and reportage, aiming to increase media coverage on TB disease and strengthen collaboration between the media and the state TB team. Meanwhile, Ghana recorded 19,000 TB cases in 2023, a significant increase from the previous years, and has not yet met the World Health Organization's target for child diagnoses.
