A jewelry store in Lantzville, north of Nanaimo, was broken into overnight, with thousands of dollars worth of jewelry stolen. Police were called to Kellers Jewellers at 3:45 a.m. on February 21 after the front door alarm was triggered. The front door was smashed, and cabinets inside the store were damaged. Surveillance footage showed three individuals wearing gloves and masks, leaving in a dark green or black older-model pickup. The vehicle was seen driving erratically in the area before disappearing.
