Thieves ram-raided an Auckland jewellery store, stole expensive jewellery, and fled in an abandoned Toyota Aqua.
Thieves ram-raided an Auckland jewellery store in Newmarket, New Zealand, on Friday night. Staff members had to flee into a locked back room while six masked offenders stole expensive jewellery by smashing cabinets with hammers and tyre irons. The stolen Toyota Aqua, used in the raid, was found abandoned nearby, with some of the stolen items still inside. Police are investigating the incident and providing support to the employees.
