Five rescued from ice on Moose Pond, Denmark; children, adults treated at local hospital.

Five people, including three children, were rescued after falling through the ice on Moose Pond in Denmark. The Denmark Fire Department responded to the call and deployed rescue personnel onto the ice to help get the five people to shore. The water was shallow enough for them to stand on the roof of their UTV until help arrived. Crews used dry suits and an ice rescue sled to bring them to safety. All five were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
