A 3-year-old child fell through ice on Lake Memphremagog, Vermont, and was hospitalized in critical condition; three others were also hospitalized for exhaustion and hypothermia.
A 3-year-old child was hospitalized in critical condition after falling through ice on Lake Memphremagog in northern Vermont with two adults and another child in a side-by-side recreational vehicle. The four were out of the water when police arrived, and a bystander was performing CPR on the 3-year-old in a sled. The child was taken to North Country Hospital, while the other three, appearing to be in a state of exhaustion and hypothermia, were also taken to the hospital.
