2 fishers rescued after their SUV plunges through thin ice on Lake Winnipeg, reminding public of unsafe ice conditions. The 41-year-old man and 40-year-old woman from Ste. Anne were headed to their regular fishing spot when their vehicle suddenly sank without warning. They managed to escape and were rescued by RCMP officers who warned the public about the risks of being on the ice, especially in a vehicle.
