Supreme Court dismisses ex-officer Tou Thao's appeal related to George Floyd's death.
The US Supreme Court has rejected the appeal of Tou Thao, a former Minneapolis police officer who held back a crowd while fellow officers pinned down George Floyd. Thao argued that prosecutors failed to prove his actions were willful and that prosecutorial misconduct deprived him of his right to a fair trial. Thao testified that he served as a "human traffic cone" while Floyd pleaded for his life.
