Thomas Robertson, a former Virginia police officer involved in the January 6th Capitol riot, has received a six-year prison sentence following a U.S. Supreme Court ruling that limited the government's use of a federal obstruction law. Additionally, four other men who breached police perimeters during the attack were sentenced to prison terms ranging from one year to eight years for their roles in the violence that injured over 100 officers.
