NY AG's case against NRA leader heads to trial after court rejects political probe claim again.
Wayne LaPierre, the long-time leader of the National Rifle Association, is set to face trial in a corruption case brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James. The case accuses the NRA and its senior management of violating laws to divert millions of dollars into their own pockets. The trial, scheduled to begin on January 8, is expected to last six to eight weeks.
