New York judge to consider NRA leadership and finances remedies following jury's corruption verdict.

A New York judge will consider remedies against the NRA and its former leaders, including barring Wayne LaPierre from leadership, after a jury found the gun rights group and its executives guilty of corruption. The judge will determine if an independent monitor should oversee the NRA for three years. In February, a jury concluded that LaPierre diverted funds and failed to manage finances properly. The lawsuit was filed by New York Attorney General Letitia James in 2020.
