A man from Cork charged with stabbing a woman in the hand during an assault was granted bail with strict conditions.

A 43-year-old man from Cork, Ireland, was charged with assaulting a 20-something woman, causing her a stab wound to her hand while she was at home with her baby. He appeared in Cork District Court and was granted bail with strict conditions: daily sign-on at his local station, a curfew, no contact with the victim or her family, surrendering his passport, and staying out of the southside of Cork city. The case is set for further hearing on April 24.
