A man has been arrested and is due to appear in court on charges of assaulting a woman in her 40s in Co Kerry, who has been taken to University Hospital in stable condition.
A man in his 40s has been charged with a serious assault on a woman in her 40s in County Kerry. The alleged assault took place at a home in Ardfert around 7:30pm on Saturday. The injured woman is in stable condition at University Hospital Kerry. The man, who is also in his 40s, is being held at a Kerry Garda station and is scheduled to appear before Mallow District court on Monday.
