Arbitration panel clears Lore and Rodriguez to buy Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx for $1.5B.

An arbitration panel has ruled in favor of Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez in their bid to acquire the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx, overturning Glen Taylor's attempt to halt the sale. The $1.5 billion deal requires NBA Board of Governors approval. Lore and Rodriguez, who still owe about $942 million, are now required to proceed with the purchase as per the original agreement from 2021. Taylor, expressing disappointment, must now sell the teams at the initial valuation.
