Man sentenced to 16 months for ramming police cars while trying to evade arrest.

Matthew Reyland, a 38-year-old from Somerset, was sentenced to 16 months in prison and banned from driving for two years and eight months after driving his pick-up truck into police vehicles while attempting to evade arrest on October 6. Reyland, subject to a warrant for an unrelated missing person case, struck an officer with his wing mirror and tried to flee the scene. Body camera footage showed him nearly hitting other officers. He pleaded guilty to charges including assault on emergency workers and driving without insurance.
