A fire at Pinewood Manor in Saginaw, Michigan, resulted in one fatality on Tuesday, February 4th. Saginaw firefighters were alerted by an automatic alarm around 8 a.m. and found a fire on the fourth floor, evacuating residents. The fire was extinguished, with more damage from smoke and water than flames. The Saginaw Public School District provided buses for residents, and the American Red Cross is assisting with temporary accommodations. The fire was deemed accidental.
